The Super Safety invented by Hoffman Tactical, made with CPM steel, is a modification for semi-automatic firearms, such as the AR-15, that enhances the trigger reset process. It integrates a push-button mechanism into the safety selector, which, when engaged, uses the bolt’s rearward motion to actively reset the trigger after each shot. This allows for faster follow-up shots while still requiring a separate trigger pull per round, distinguishing it from fully automatic fire. The super safety allows the user to select between 3 firing modes: Safe, Semi and Forced Reset.

- Not an auto sear and does NOT convert your firearm into a machine gun.
- Not an NFA item.
- Requires: Standard Fire Control Group and a Full Auto Compatible Bolt Carrier Group. This is the key to appropriate functionality.
- A carbine buffer is ok to use WITH the right BCG, you may have to upgrade buffers. We do offer these for sale in our store.

Super safety
Install was super easy. I did have to tinker with the buffer for everything to work properly. At first the bolt was going to far back and would hang up after one shot. I took out buffer spring and added a few quarters to the buffer tube at a time then tried charging again. My magic number was four quarters then reinstalled spring and the rest is history. Im very impressed with the product.

Curved super safety
Trigger looked good. The anti walk pin installation tip seemed to be too big and I couldn’t use it. I kinda wish the screws came with some thread locker but I added some. The safety de-tent didn’t work in my gun. But all in all it worked great.
