The Super Safety invented by Hoffman Tactical is a modification for semi-automatic firearms, such as the AR-15, that enhances the trigger reset process. It integrates a push-button mechanism into the safety selector, which, when engaged, uses the bolt’s rearward motion to actively reset the trigger after each shot. This allows for faster follow-up shots while still requiring a separate trigger pull per round, distinguishing it from fully automatic fire. The super safety allows the user to select between 3 firing modes: Safe, Semi and Forced Reset.
