Description
Purpose:  A rifle buffer absorbs recoil, slows the bolt carrier group (BCG), and ensures reliable cycling by regulating its movement.

Using "Old School" time tested M16 Full Auto logic, the market has reinvented this buffer, specifically for FRT Applications!

This is a U.S.-made, two-piece H3 sliding-weight carbine buffer for the AR-15 platform, measuring the standard 3.25″ in length.

It features a solid steel rear section that functions as a dead-blow hammer, striking the bolt carrier group to effectively reduce or eliminate bolt bounce. The buffer was specifically engineered for reliable performance in full-auto and FRT (forced reset trigger) setups.

For the dead-blow mechanism to work properly, a small gap of 1/16″ to 1/8″ must exist between the head piece and the body. This clearance is preset at the factory but can be fine-tuned if needed.

These buffers have been extensively tested across a wide range of AR-15 configurations, including builds with barrels as short as 7″. They deliver excellent results with FRT triggers, where a total assembled weight of 5.1 – 5.2 oz appears to be the ideal “sweet spot” for smooth, reliable operation.

The sliding internal weight portion weighs 4.3 oz — the same as the combined sliding tungsten weights in a traditional H3 buffer. However, by using durable 8620 steel instead of tungsten, manufacturing costs are significantly lower while maintaining comparable performance. The complete buffer assembly weighs approximately 5.15 oz.

YOU MUST LOOSEN THE SMALL LOCKING SET SCREW ON THE SIDE OF THE BUFFER BODY, PRIOR TO TURNING THE MAIN HEAD SCREW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
