M16 Full Auto Heavy Carbine Recoil Buffer AR-9 4"
This is a U.S.-made, two-piece sliding-weight carbine buffer for the AR-9 platform, measuring the standard 4″ in length.
It features a solid steel rear section that functions as a dead-blow hammer, striking the bolt carrier group to effectively reduce or eliminate bolt bounce. The buffer was specifically engineered for reliable performance in full-auto and Forced Reset setups.
For the dead-blow mechanism to work properly, a small gap of 1/16″ to 1/8″ must exist between the head piece and the body. This clearance is preset at the factory but can be fine-tuned if needed.
These buffers have been extensively tested across a wide range of AR-9 configurations. They deliver excellent results with forced reset triggers.
