H2 Solid Steel Recoil Buffer - 3.25" Length - 4.6oz - AR-15 - Black
Purpose: A rifle buffer absorbs recoil, slows the bolt carrier group (BCG), and ensures reliable cycling by regulating its movement. It reduces wear on internal components and smooths out the shooting experience. Different buffer weights help fine-tune performance based on gas system modifications, suppressors, or ammunition types. An H2 buffer, commonly used in AR-15 rifles, is a type of recoil buffer that sits in the buffer tube and helps manage the recoil and cycling of the bolt carrier group. The "H2" designation refers to its weight—typically around 4.6 to 4.7 ounces, heavier than a standard carbine buffer (about 3 ounces) but lighter than an H3 buffer (around 5.4 ounces)
Features: 4.6 oz, 3.25" Long
Note: This is a solid steel buffer NOT a tungsten weight buffer. This is recommended for Semi-Automatic applications. This is NOT ideal for an FRT Trigger.
