Description
Purpose: The buffer tube on a rifle, houses the recoil buffer and spring, which absorb recoil energy, control the bolt carrier group's movement, and facilitate reliable cycling of the action. It also serves as the mounting point for the shoulder stock, allowing for adjustable or fixed length of pull to improve shooter comfort and control.
 
Features: Machined from durable 7075-T6 aluminum with a precise outer diameter of about 1.146–1.148 inches and features six adjustment positions for collapsible stocks. It has rolled threads (1-3/16-16 UNEF) for secure attachment to the lower receiver, a flat 90-degree rear face for proper stock alignment and is finished with Type 3 hard coat anodizing for corrosion resistance. These specifications ensure compatibility with military-standard stocks and components, offering greater strength and reliability compared to commercial alternatives.
