Description
Purpose: A gas block and tube in a rifle, typically found in gas-operated firearms like the AR-10, work together to cycle the action. The gas block redirects a portion of the high-pressure gas from the fired cartridge through the gas tube, which then drives the bolt carrier group rearward to eject the spent case and chamber a new round.
